When I Awake...

When I wake up on Tuesday morning it will be my 41st birthday...
I can't believe it.

It seems like just a few years ago I was in 3rd grade. The assignment was to figure out just how old I was going to be in the year 2000.

The answer? 34!

It seemed so impossible and so, so, so far away.

Now it's 2007...wow...

I've gone a long way the past few decades...

I've toured...
I fathered a wonderful and totally incredible daughter...
4 years ago I married a wonderful woman, my soul mate...
Survived a cancer scare...
Started my own business of photography...
Not to mention, I have met some incredible people along my way.
Have great friends...(Randy.... you ARE the best!!!)
My family is absolutely wonderful...
My mother is my hero...
My little brother, I look up too.

41 years came quicker than I would have expected.

Life is not a rehearsal... not sure what lies ahead...

Might I have regrets thus far? Maybe... but only in hind sight.
I might have done things differently...
But the turn out might have been the same...

My grandmother used to tell me that things do not really get any better...they just get different...

I guess that every day is a challenge and you have to find a way to make it worth your while to keep your head up.

It has nothing to do with money or what people might think of you.

It's all about what you feel inside about yourself.

Life is good...
